Oitavos Dunes (2 Km away; 5 minutes)

- Designed by Arthur Hills, 18 holes, 6.303 metres, par 71.
Natural Links Golf course, with magnificent views to the Atlantic Ocean and Serra de Sintra.
This course had many European Tour events including the Portuguese Open in 2005, 2007, 2008 & 2009.

Did you know?
In 2005, Paul Broadhurst, who bogeyed the 18th, won the Portuguese Open, following a dramatic ending.
In the last 3 holes, Paul Lawrie or Barry Lane looked very likely to win the title.
Paul Lawrie triple bogeyed the 17th and Barry Lane had a quintuple-bogey, nine, in the 18th hole!
Those mistakes left Paul Broadhurst as the winner - his first title in 10 years.

Penha Longa Atlantic Course (12 Km away)

- Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, 18 holes, 6.313 metres; par 72.
Course with Unique layout, set in the middle of Sintra Mountains with fantastic views to the hills and forest. Hosted the Portuguese Open in 1994, 1995 & 2010.

Did you Know?
Thomas Björn, with 39 year old, won the Portuguese Open in 2010, his 10th European Tour title and 1st after more than four years without winning.

Belas Clube de Campo (29 Km away)

- Designed by Rocky Roquemore, 18 holes, 6.270 metres, par 72.
Challenging course in a nice & hilly scenery having some fairways and greens set in deep valleys. Hole number 2, a par 5 called "Augusta" and hole number 18, a long par 4, are both very memorable.
In October 2011, held the European Senior Tour where Ian Woosman finished 4th.

Estoril Golf Course (9 Km away; 10 minutes)

- Designed by McKenzie Ross, 18 holes, 5.313 metres, par 69.
2nd Oldest Course in Portugal, opened in 1928, has lots of history and Tradition. Not a long course but very enjoyable where a good club selection is crucial.

Lisbon Sports Club (29 Km away)

A traditional course, founded by the British in the early nineties. Designed by Hawtree & Sons, Par 69, with 5278 meters. It is quite a tricky course, you will need to play strategically!
